Neo Sports Cafe Racer
Japanese
two-wheeler manufacturer Honda has unveiled the Neo Sports Cafe Racer concept
model at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Honda states that the Neo Sports Cafe Racer
concept previews the next-generation naked sports motorcycle from the company.
Honda said that
the Neo Sports Cafe Racer concept is a motorcycle designed for mature riders
with a lot of riding experience. The company further added that the engine,
suspension and compact design would result in a smooth riding experience.
The overall design
language of the Neo Sports Cafe Racer is that of a naked sports motorcycle. The
bulbous fuel tank finished in red and the floating seat renders the motorcycle
an elegant look.
The chunky front
forks, wide and aggressively set flat handlebar and the chrome-finished exhaust
pipes give the motorcycle a modern look. The overall proportions of the concept
model suggest that it could be based on the CB1000.
Honda has not
revealed the technical specification of the Neo Sports Cafe Racer, but it is
expected to draw power from the existing 1,140cc engine from the CB1100,
Honda's flagship cafe racer.
The Honda Neo
Sports Cafe Racer looks modern, thanks to the LED headlight ring, digital
instrument cluster and the four-into-one exhaust setup. The single-sided swing
arm also enhances the modern appeal of the motorcycle.
