Apple's revenue from India doubled
Apple's
revenue from India has doubled over the past year, according to CEO Tim Cook.
Tim Cook said in a conversation with investors and analysts. Cook has added
that Apple's incomes are growing not only from India but also from emerging
Apple is not only
iPhone, but other products like iPad and Mac. At the same time, the company did
not disclose the exact sales volume from India. He said that earnings have
doubled as customers in the enterprise and education sector have purchased more
products.
India's second
largest smartphone market is exporting about 110 million iPhones every year.
The tablet has only 3 per cent of India's smartphone market.
Cook said the market
is in the market and the market is going on to boost sales. From the feature
phones to smartphone, lakhs of people are taking part in the ongoing
digitalization process in India.
As smartphone users
do not use one more phone for more than two years, India has a potential market
for smartphone companies.
