Pulsar NS200

Bajaj Auto has introduced the ABS variant of the naked street fighter, the
Pulsar NS200 in India. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Pulsar NS200 ABS is equipped with a single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) on the front wheel. The motorcycle also gets a bigger 300mm front disc which improves the braking.
Bajaj has introduced the Pulsar NS200 ABS in all Metro cities and will be progressively available throughout the country. The single-channel ABS avoids the front wheel from locking on any surface during panic braking, thus providing a safety net for the rider. Apart from the ABS, there are no changes done to the motorcycle.

On the design front, the Pulsar NS200 ABS remains unchanged. It features an aggressive styling with sharp headlamp design, muscular fuel tank with shrouds, engine cowl, step-up seats and signature Pulsar LED tail lamp.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS draws power from a 199.5cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 23.17bhp and 18.3Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS will be available in three colour options - Wild Red, Mirage White and Graphite Black. The motorcycle also sports the new 2017 decals with the 200 branding which adds to the sporty look of the Pulsar NS200 ABS.

President of Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, Eric Vas said that the ABS variant of the Pulsar NS200 is introduced due to a large number of requests from the customers. He also added that the introduction of the ABS will further improve the performance of the motorcycle and strengthen its position in the performance segment.

The addition of the ABS makes the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 a complete package. The Pulsar NS200 is a dominant player in the 200cc performance motorcycle segment. The Pulsar NS200 ABS rivals the likes of TVS Apache 200 4V and Yamaha FZ25, but both the motorcycles misses out on ABS.
