A six-year-old Muslim boy was reported to police after his teacher feared him for being a terrorist.
Mohammad Suleiman, a student at the CJ Harris Elementary School in Texas was being investigated by the Pearland Police Department after his teacher reported that he kept on repeating the words "Allah" and "boom" in the classroom.
The police after investigating the matter found that Suleiman was suffering from congenital Down's Syndrome and cannot speak at all. He has the mental capacity of a one-year-old.
The child's parents live in Texas city of Pearland, twenty miles away from Houston.
Mohammad Suleiman's father said that they suffered a lot due to the investigations carried out by the police and social services department.
"The last three or four weeks have been the hardest of my life. My wife and kids were crying a few days ago and I told them everything is fine. They claim that he's a terrorist. This is so stupid, this is discrimination actually. It's not implied discrimination, it's a hundred per cent discrimination.", he told Fox channel.
The teacher who made the complaint was a substitute for a regular teacher at  the school. He told the officer in charge that Mohammad Suleiman could talk.
The Pearland Police Department has completed its investigation and said there was no need for further action. The Child Protection Rights Department however, is still investigating the matter
