36 safe after two ships collide in Vietnam

At least 31 Chinese tourists, including four crew members and a tourist guide, had a minor scare after their ship collided with a cargo vessel, near Ti Top Island in Ha Long Bay, located in northern Vietnam.
 
According to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), the collision took place late on Sunday when the tourist ship on its way to the port, after touring the bay, collided with the oncoming vessel, en route from Hai Phong city to Hon Net seaport in Quang Ninh province.
 
All the 37 people on board the ship were brought to the shore safely.
 
The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Bank recapitalisation: Govt to inject nearly $14 billion in PSBs by March

The government pledged on Wednesday to inject nearly $14 billion combined into all but one state-run lender by March in return for them implementing reforms, in a bid to boost lending and tackle a record bad debt problem. The funds will be injected into 20 lenders majority-owned by the government, which together hold most of India's record $150 billion in soured loans. Lenders with high stressed-asset ratios, such as IDBI Bank, will get a bigger portion of the money. The government last October said it would inject a total of 2.11 trillion rupees ($33.1 billion) into its state-run lenders over two years. The 881.4 billion rupees announced on Wednesday will be injected by March, while the rest will be doled out over the next fiscal year. Microsoft refreshes Surface Laptop, Surface Book 2 lineup ahead of India launch

Microsoft may have been a little reluctant in bringing all of its Surface range of devices to India, but, interestingly its most powerful Surface Book yet, aka the Surface Book 2, is coming to the country. The Surface Book 2 will be launching in 17 more countries including in India this year, although a definite time-frame hasn't been revealed by the company. Ahead of launch, Microsoft has refreshed the Surface Book 2, introducing a new 128GB storage version that will cost buyers $1199 which roughly translates to Rs 77,000. The new $1199 Surface Book 2 will come with a 13.5-inch screen and an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB RAM. Previously, the same model came with 256GB storage and cost $1499 which roughly translates to Rs 96,000.
