Who is Moshe Holtzberg? A look at the story of the Jewish toddler who survived 26/11

oshe Holtzberg’s story is probably one of the most moving stories of 26/11. The 26/11 attacks left Moshe an orphan. Moshe’s parents, Rabbi Gavriel (father) and Rivka (mother) were killed by terrorists in the attack on Nariman House on November 26, 2008.
Today, Little Moshe will visit Nariman House, the place where his parents were murdered. Here is his story:
  • When the attack happened on Nariman House, Mumbai's Chabad Lubavitch Jewish centre, Moshe was present in the same building. He was saved by his nanny, Sandra Samuel.

  • Moshe celebrated his 10th birthday in 2016 at his grandparent’s place. Sandra and Moshe are inseparable. During Moshe’s 10th birthday Sandra said, “Once I said I'd stay with Moshe until he turned five, then I said I'd stay with him until he turned ten. Now I say until his bar mitzva. We just can't stand to be separated.”
